so I FINALLY got my braces put on this morning. I've been gigling like a school girl all day long. It feels good knowing that I am on the road to having the smile that I've always wanted. The extra added bonus is that they're clear and they really don't effect my appearance that much...../basically I'm still cute and will be even cuter in 24months!

so that was the L-O-N-G-E-S-T paper I have ever written, and yet NO NO NO satisfaction. in fact when all is said and done the thing sucks. and i haven't proven a thing. ah well, i've already spent 4 extra days on it so i can't hassle with it anymore..
2 papers, 1 test, and 1 presentation to go and i'm already spent.

I was in a van cab the other night, and the cabbie and I were listening to this radio program about diets. Apparently milk is bad, bad, bad for you!?!?!? Instead of being an excellent source of calcium like those celebrity milk mustache commercials suggest, a high milk intake can actually increase one's risk of osteoperosis, heart disease, arthritis, and a whole host of other diseases associated with the consumption of animal fats. What the deuce? I have been drinking gallons of milk since I was a wee tot, thinking that my unusual affinity for animal teet discharge was a positive thing for my health. Damn you SEALTEST! and your "eat and drink animal products it's good for you" propaganda. This information is almost as horrifying as when I found out on the OPRAH show that our bodies dont' fully digest animal meats, instead they just rot in our colons, waiting to get suck out with an enema of some sort, or eventually turning into colon cancer.... yesh
I'll try to gradually ween myself off the stuff. I can't stop "cold turkey",(not with X-mas round the corner) my habits are pretty ingrained. I seriously need to re-think this whole carnivorous thing though.

I have to write a philosophy paper on both the merits and pitfalls of the practise of promiscuity. Since I'm not an expert on the subject, and since I don't have enough time to do "research", I am begging you for your thoughts on the matter.
Do you believe, like many, that monogamy is the prefered situation? or
Do you believe that promiscuity is the better situation and why?
I am still trying to mull over my own views on the subject, and I've yet to come up with anything original, thoughful, or valid...*shakes fist at own frigidity*
If you went from a preferance for monogamy, and then switched to promiscuity(or vice versa) I would specifically like to know the WHY of it all.. any thoughts?
Btw I am alive and relatively well, I hope that all of you are the same or even better.
